Found it! It is related to the software I am using, Zoneminder. It has problems decoding h264 streams, switching from ffmpeg to libvlc within Zoneminder did the trick.

Something like this? I have this problem with distorted picture at daytime. At night it works perfectly. Any suggestions? It got worse since the snow came, so I guess it has something to do with to bright picture or something that triggers the problem. It is a eBay no name IP-camera.
