Dahua Motion Detection sensitivity
Neutech replied to Hathol's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Forget the motion on the camera, its junk, use external PIR or IR Beams to control it correctly -
Dahua make a Tester for CVI but you can switch most CVI to Analogue there Is pair cables you can twist together

monitor went on standby, but dvr still seems to work,
Neutech replied to wayne1's topic in General Digital Discussion
VGA ? HMDI ? BNC ? Try a different output -
Higher spec Dahua have a Spot monitor output which will allow a matrix with your selection of cameras on it, you cant split hdcvi signals

CCTV install help with rf modulator
Neutech replied to 8ball's topic in Installation Help and Accessories
So antenna comes into attic and you have the connected the modulator inline before it goes into your TV Dist amp? Did you check the channels as I mentioned above on the existing TV tuning? Auto Tune and watch the TV it will go along frequencies and stop with a Channel then you will notice the digital stations increasing, its a matter of changing the channel on the modulator to a different channel away from the DTV ones, when you watch the tune in it will say for example 48 Digital TV 180 Radio then 1 analogue ? -
CCTV install help with rf modulator
Neutech replied to 8ball's topic in Installation Help and Accessories
First go into your TV tuning menu and check the CH number for existing Digital Channels in your area, next select a different channel away from those and remember to check if you have a skybox which channel its on Connect DVR to the Modulator Retune TV selecting Analogue and digital I have seen new TVs showing the modulator analogue channel on 901 or 925 so check high if your TV dosent have a DVT / Analogue source selector -

Are you using VGA at moment ? Run cat6 from NVR to Kitchen and use HDMI Baluns and this will give you same screen in kitchen as Home office, also if you have IR remote most HDMI Baluns allow IR so you could use remote in kitchen to say change channels etc http://www.ebay.com/itm/Authorized-HDMI-Matrix-1080P-Extender-Cat5-Cat6-Up-120m-IR-Remote-SW-/281560729866?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item418e53c90a

Can't connect Lorax DVR to a monitor
Neutech replied to Lorax's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Has DVR got HDMI port? Try connecting to that, some DVR set to 1920x1080 RES as default and unless your VGA monitor has that resolution it wont display but may flash up a message about resolution our of range Funny I was at a call today and had to get HDMI screen from van and hook via HDMI cable to get into the NVR as some clown that installed it went from HDMI to VGA to VGA to composite adaptor then into an analogue modulator to get a image on an old TV -
Please can anyone identify this CCTV recorder
Neutech replied to mark_derry's topic in General Digital Discussion
you will need to find the Network setup menu where ever its buried and check if its set to static or dhcp and make sure the DVR is taking the LAN ip form the router and correct subnet mask etc then you might find it on the router. What brand router? Stroke city ? -

CCTV System installed last week
Neutech replied to Jammer's topic in Installation Help and Accessories
What are you trying to connect on? Android device gDMSS Lite or apple products iDMSS Your installer should have set this up for you ! Im guessing UK based? OYNX is Qvis/Adata rebranded product -
What happens when you view direct on the unit? Is it set to record 24/7 or motion? You don't need CMS to use Qvis DVR, log direct into the DVR and link direct to DVR, You will need to enable ActiveX app to be installed

Throw the Router in the bin, its useless, I have worked on a number of installs last year with XLN Telecom and ended up replacing the router for TPlink or Netgear units to sort the issues, also the speeds weren't great between XLN in one office compared to the Office below who had BT Business Broadband

help with camera to protect car
Neutech replied to dean-a-cfc-1's topic in General Digital Discussion
Thanks for getting back to me, so with the ip camera will that automatically record over the previous footage? Aye it will, works on loop principle Whats distance from location to parking space? You may need a varifocal camera and external don't buy one and put it against the window at night time the IR from the camera will bounce off the glass and all you will get is a blur -

Help me to Identify my H.264 DVR for firmware download
Neutech replied to jaffa's topic in System Design
So the issue is remote view? Are all the proper ports open on your router? Change port 80 to something else to start with If its view over a mobilephone you cant get, what App are you using? -
Just go for a NVR with POE ports on it, you mentioned for home use so cant be very long cable runs, put the NVR in attic and Run CAT6 to router and your on the network for remote and local access TV upstairs with HDMI ? Drop HDMI from NVR to it and you have live feed at 1080p

Dave HDSDI will give you what you need without an issue esp when most are varifocal lens where an IP camera with varifocal will cost twice the amount I have installed both HDCVI and HDTVI systems and also tested AHD as well but personally i prefer the HDSDI Your budget is tight but you will have to shop about to make it
