Qvis nvr image skipping
Neutech replied to essexlee's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Motion detection? Did you configure the MD on the NVR or direct on the camera? Do it on the camera direct and set up the MD grid etc not on the NVR -
Ok linda so you want to view the gate, zoom and cheap dont come in the same sentence Who will be installing this? Is there a way to run cables to the gate area? Site the camera looking at the gates?
-
Upgrade your audio intercom to a video version if that all the budget is but check first what the cable infastructre is coming from the gate Video intercom will let you see who you are talking to

HD CVI claims to be able to operate up to 250m on CAT5 and passive Balun, only way to find out is to test it, failing that where does the Electric cable or Telephone Cable come in from garage? No ducting? Not possible for wireless on either unless as shown above you got 25k to add to budget

do HD-SDI cameras have both HD digital and SD analog output
Neutech replied to martin68's topic in General Digital Discussion
I have one camera on a system set up that way for customer, HDSDI goes to the DVR and the standard analogue output goes to a Spot monitor I wouldnt use satelite cable, yes its 75ohm but the connectors wont fit properly on the BNC crimps, are you talking about the mini twin stuff? -
Good idea is to start with LOCATION so everyone knows where in the world you are " title="Applause" />
-
Work with what you have and look at lighting solution instead I found with IP / HDSDI / HDCVI i have installed they all need a helping hand, either LED Flood lights on a sensor or a lighting system such as GJD or seperate IR illuminator, the best thing is to set up a test cable and have a go at night time to see how best to illuminate the area I never found a Camera with decient all in one IR

Check what CH in the RF section of your Sky box it is set to? Make sure modulator is not in that CH as well. Even if the feed from NVR is not working you will still pick up a Channel from the Modulator, the fact when u tried the direct route and you have lost sky would lead me to believe either your MOD is incorectly connected RF IN - RF OUT mixed up or the MOD is set to the same CH as SKY, are you able to view sky on any TV in the House?
-
Possible issue you have the modulator set on the same CH as local DVB stations? Is your MOD connected correctly to the loftbox? Is the switch on loftbox set to UHF/CCTV? Is there a gain adjustment on the MOD you are using? Turn it down as to much will lead to no picture as well i found in past Another way is to take ANT feed into MOD then flylead from MOD to ANT IN on loftbox and dont use the CCTV connection and again retune it and check ATV on your TV
-
When you tune your TV are you making sure it is tuning into Analogue as well as Digital, the modulator you have bought will be analogue so will be the only channel on Analogue in your TV, set the modulator to say CH 22 and then tune Analogue to CH 22 and this will display cameras but to be honest putting the picture from VGA to a convertor that then gives it composite then into a modulator then through loftbox will give a poor picture, your NVR will have HDMI, run HDMI cables to your TV and use a quality HDMI spitter or how about Cat5 connection to your broadband router via say homeplug system 500mps or 600mps minimum and installing the app on your Tablet or Phone? Lots of differnet options but the quality from Analogue will not be great and then the issue of how do you change the channels from another TV without a load of pyrmids or IR Repeaters?

Unable to view remotley via BT broadband ? not supported ?
Neutech replied to aledhughes99's topic in General Digital Discussion
What brand of DVR is it? Check the Network settings under DDNS and see what ddns services it will accept, some DVR are pre set to noip, dynddns etc setup a DDNS account with NOIP or whoever and open the ports in the router, what BT homehub have you got? on the bottom of it it will state HH3 or HH4 and a type A or B , this will determine how easy it will be to do setup as certain versions do not work even when the ports are opened thanks to good old BT -
They will work but those are total trash if your expecting quality where are you located ?
-
You need to go to play store and install the relevant APP to suit your DVR/NVR/IP camera then configuire it on you LAN ME eye etc are the more popular versions
-

Snap PM incoming

Chill... No remote? use a wireless mouse instead way better menu operation than a remote control, gives you access to full keyboard so entering a day and time to do search is far easier than poken buttons on a remote Yes that is a Dahau based unit and a good one at that compared to the old version you listed with only 6 FPS recording speed that unit will do 25 FPS so real time recordings and playback
-
Where is "here" ..... no location in profile and subject to reply as to where in the world you are located you may get a reply or two and to answer your Q yes there is

Neutech replied to vincenttor's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Are they Smart TV? install APP If no Smart TV install HDMI Andriod stick (about $40) in each TV and use the APP This is issue now with splitting NVR to multiple TV when lots of new cables HDMI/CAT6 etc need installed unlike old days stick a modulator on and tune in a spare chanel -
ANRAN cameras on Hikvision NVR
Neutech replied to glocklt4's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Hikvision DS-2CD2312-I-2MM 1.3MP or DS-2CD2332-I is 3MP version But the unit you have posted is ONVIF compatable so will work with your NVR but its unknown unit so cant comment on it -
Have you checked the ports are open on router? http://www.canyouseeme.org/ Also looks like the DVR hasnt got no-ip in its service list
