You need to use the Mobile port on theDVR not the data port, normally set to 100 or 101 on some DVR's Remember to open that port on Router What is brand or model of DVR? Nothing in handbook as to which app you need to use http://www.meyetech.com/ make lots apps for DVR's try one of theirs like TMeye etc Also remember to turn your substream setting down to QCIF and maybe reduce frames and quality until you can test it due to streaming -

problems getting dns to work
Neutech replied to mtraveller99's topic in Installation Help and Accessories
If you have a Business broadband then request a static IP address as it makes for a more simple connection BT will try and charge you but tell them your going to another provider and see what they say To check that port is open use this - http://www.canyouseeme.org/ BT can claim all they want saying they do not block ports but their routers do and most do not have the loopback faclity to enable this Also the APP your running will need the mobile port opened on the router and set in the Eagleeyes software to match The HTTP port 80 is for viewing using a laptop/PC offsite on the DVR software -
Any camera can be day/night without IR but depends if electronic or mechanical filter as to the quality, no IR on this camera I havnt fitted a camera with IR in over 5 years....prefer to install a proper lighting solution or seperate IR illuminators so the spiders arent crawling all over the camera after the first night or it turns into a bugbeacon

The fact you can see the login page means you need the correct user and password Move the HTTP port to something apart from 80 as some routers tend to block 80 for various reasons

Installing a long distance CCTV camera
Neutech replied to ogie delos reyes's topic in Installation Help and Accessories
Use a quality CCTV Camera and connect it to a Transmitter - Do not buy Wireless all in one camera Use external antenna on both transmitter and reciever to help signal Fit a 12v External Boxed PSU below camera or in a Security box near pole -
The cat5 and baluns are for analogue connection not IP, they mean you dont require a coax stipper and crimper to do BNC's To be honest 3.6mm is a general observation size lens, people think if you can see someone in the camera you can go all CSI and zoom in and enhance etc...yes IP or HD but analogue no If you require quality and deffination then your going to need to fill those 8 channels Bud, buy cameras with Varifocal lens as these allow you to set the image to where you require subject to where you place them and how far away, if its distance then look for 9-22mm or 5-50mm lens camera BNC crimp kit is what you need if you want to use RG59 instead of the CAT5 / balun option - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BNC-Crimp-Tool-Kit-/251188887776?pt=UK_Computing_NetworkingTools_Accessories_SM&hash=item3a7c0640e0 That gives you stipper and crimper, all you need is BNC's
