Folks, I'm a newbie to the site and CCTV. Thanks for all the help I have already parsed.
My question. I will be integrating 6 cameras in my home (3 in, 3 out) and will be setting up motion notification (email,...) for the three indoor cameras. If I install a GV-NET I/O (w/ GV-6508) and wire to a relay keypad, will the 8.1 software allow me to disable the indoor camera notification while I'm home (or at my discretion)? Since I haven't set up the system yet, and have only been reading the 8.1 User Manual, I'm guessing at the possibility. Seems possible to me but just checking.
For reference, I'm XP proficient, build and program PLC control panels (thorough control knowledge), and the Geo software looks pretty easy once I get my hands on it. I rarely get stumped by software, programming, wiring,..... Lay it on me.
