  1. ]As long as you have those 10 Cameras imported into the NVR, you will be able to see all the cameras through IVMS by port forwarding the 3 ports for the NVR and then adding the NVR in the IVMS Client. On the NVR directly, can you see all 10 Cameras? Yes I can see all the cameras Is the Lan port on the NVR connected to the switch on a regular port or one of the UP LINKS ports? There is only a single port on the nvr and I have connected my nvr to my router. I have uploaded a installation diagram in the last thread I have posted. The link is in the first post. Do yo have all 3 ports forwarded? My first router has 3 ports forwarded Is the RTSP Port higher than 2000?
  2. Hi guys, I have sorted out the issues as reported in my previous thread. Thank you for helping me out viewtopic.php?f=19&t=44266 As said earlier i have 10 IP cameras connected to my NVR. Remote viewing is working but i can see only a single camera feed on ivms app. Does every camera and NVR needs to have a seperate port assigned? Should i then forward each and every ip on my router? i have forwarded my nvr's ip but strangely i get a single feed only Please help me
  3. My ISP gives a PPPOE login. I have tried connecting with a switch earlier but only the device with which the PPPOE connection is made is connected to the web. I've used a router as it can login into PPPOE and distribute Internet to LAN Ports easily unlike switches
  4. I also get a invalid operation when i try to save DDNS settings from browser
  5. Does your isp provide multiple ip addresses to you? if not this will not work..even if it did, there is zero benefit to you... My ISP does not not provide the multiple IP addresses. So what should i be doing exactly now
  6. The DLink 524 Router uses PPPOE to login first.(Dlink 524 router does the login) Will the switch between ISP Modem and the router share the internet also?
  7. Hi everybody, I have recently shifted to IP CCTV from Analog CCTV. I am using Hikvision's solutions as of now. I have a problem at my client location This is the network map of installed IP CCTV. I am having issues regarding the DDNS Service. The Dlink 524 router is present at client's residence and Dlink 600 router present at the office nearby. The client is sharing internet from his residence router to his office router via a lan cable (connected from the lan port of residence router to the wan port of his office router.) The internet is working pretty well and there isnt any problem. I hope i am clear Now i have few questions. 1)Is the network diagram correct? As with the installation done 2)Do i need to forward ports at both his locations(routers) to be able view them remotely. 3) Can all the 10 IP cameras be on the same port? the default is 8000. 4)Although i have configured no-ip's free service,it still shows offline in the NVR. 5)How often the DDNS updates the IP? 6)I have forwarded PORT 80 and 8000. As of now I can connect remotely from my laptop from a different location. What other ports do i need to forward? Am i doing the right or am i missing something? Experts please guide me
