  1. I am unsure if I am in the right place, but I am frustrated beyond belief. I am really hoping that someone can assist me. I own a H.264 Network DVR (4 channel). This system has worked beautifully until one day I was really angry with my laptop and pulled the plug out of the surge protector. At the same time my monitor for the H.264 goes black. I thought I accidentally unplugged something so I followed every single wire (including the ones from the cameras) and everything was secure. I then thought "maybe it is the monitor", so I unplugged the monitor and hooked it up to a computer and it works fine. I still went ahead and took a back up monitor (that I already know works fine with the computer) and tried it with the DVR and that screen goes black. So, it isn't the monitors. I go ahead and turn off the power and unscrew the case of the DVR to verify that all connections are still secure (and they are secure). I have turned on the DVR and I hear the boot up process, and everything sounds fine, but I can't get a picture. Now, I can't guarantee it is fine because I can't see anything. I just go with what I know it is supposed to sound like when I boot it up. I am scratching my head on this and can use some help. Please!?!?!?
