For 2 plus years I have used Asee app to view my cameras from my phone. Got a new phone and the app no longer works. I tried Defender support with no luck. My system is discontinued and it does not work with Defender's app. Asee no longer has support. Does anyone know of a good app that would allow me to view my dvr on my android? (Samsung S7 and defender blueline 21165 dvr) Thanks.

hello all, I have just found this forum and am certain I will be referring to it often in the future. I have a quick question. In regards to a camera system with dvr, can brands be mixed? Here is what I am looking at: I am looking to purchase a defender sentinel model 21050 from a co worker. I would like to be able to add 2 wireless cameras (for detached garage) to it. I talked to defender and they tell me they only recommend 2 cameras that they make. These cameras see to be pricey. I am wondering if other manufacturer's cameras will work with this system? I figured they would not tell me if this were the case. I was also thinking the basic technology is similar between most manufacturers and I may be able to use another brand, lower priced cameras. My post may have already proved this, but I am by no means an expert in this field.
