Hello all, I need to source an outdoor rated PTZ camera. The one very specific requirement I have is the cam needs at least 90 degree field of view when lens is at its widest position. The more zoom the better at that point but lens needs to start somewhere around 3mm so that I can get my 90 degree field of view. The second requirement is that it needs to be high speed. I know I could build what I need with standard box cameras, lenses, and PTZ modules but I need something high speed. If you know of I high speed housing that I could assemble my own box cam/lens in that could also be a possible solution. I can use any of the following formats: TVI, CVI, IP, or SDI. Would like at 1080p resolution or higher but if 720p is the only option then so be it. IR illumination is not necessary but if it has it then great. Thanks Robbie

Hello all, I have a project I am working on for a client where we are using HD-SDI PTZ cams to record softball games. The camera is to be mounted on the backstop fence behind home plate. I need a camera that can see at a minimum 1st base on the right side and 3rd base on the left side simultaneously. Based on my calculations I need a camera with a lens that is a 2.8mm to whatever... Don't really care how high the zoom goes as long as I get down to a 2.8 on the near side. So, camera requirements. HD-SDI protocol PTZ Day / Night with IR Illumination RS-485 bus Pendant Mount Outdoor rated & vandal proof would be a nice bonus 2.8mm --- ???mm zoom lens Thanks for any suggestions.
