there is a BLUE trimmer at the top of the card, adjust it with a small screwdriver to adjust video level, post results. -
Similar to bosch desa and kodicom. Not the best but should be ok.
-
did anyone ever successfully get the posreader working on the bosch desa dvr. i cant seen to get it to run at the same time as the desa server software, the only time the pos reader will work is if the dvr software is not open.

try to log onto it from inside the network,,, ht tp://192.168.1.6:80 might as well try ht tp://192.168.1.6:81
-
looks like 192.168.1.6 is the address that needs to have the ports foward to it.
-
go to the dvr computer, press start, run, then type cmd and hit enter, then type ipconfig and post the result.
-
the file i told you should be in the apache folder, probably program files/apache.. or something like that. the ip address you refered to 192.168.x.x is your network address (internal), write it down. now go to the routers settings and look for port fowarding, make sure to foward all of the ports the dvr uses to that address 192.168.x.x. the manual or software you are using should list them somewhere. now you need to get your external ip address, probably the one you saw in the avatar, that is the address you need to connect to the server from the remote location. its not that hard maybe someone else can explain it better,
-
this is simple to overcome, im assuming port 80 is being used for the apache web server, if this is the case go to the configuration file "h t t p d . c o n f " and change it from listen 80 to listen 81. then restart the dvr and try it, remote view will be like this: just fill in the ip,,, ipaddress:81 one last thing make sure your router is now set up to foward all incoming ports used by the dvr to its address on the network.

when run for the first time there is a window behind the splash screen asking how many cameras to set up for, try pressing enter a few times. then it should go. -

dvr1001 replied to 501's topic in DVR Cards and Software - PC Based Systems
i have this board in one of my stores, it is a "dvs" 16 ch 120 fps. i also have the viewgate in another store, very similar cards, software too, the remote client can actually connect to both. -
Diginet stops recording by itself
dvr1001 replied to gremlinza's topic in DVR Cards and Software - PC Based Systems
it will only record on motion if you have it set that way, check the recording schedule in the setup to see how it is set to record, you should also check the motion setup for each camera. -
kodicom DVR board.

what exactly was the problem you were having?? ,, you may want to check to make sure you have a motherboard with an intel chipset. Also you need to have an ati video card to work properly. one last thing, make sure you have a partition or seperate drive to save the video to, it cannot share the c: drive.
