  1. Ok, so disable NTP for individual camera, and disable overlay for time. Set NVR to GMT+1 and ALSO disable NTP on NVR or keep it enabled? And I guess, now also disable DST? And yes, I think you are right about this nvr not being intended for UK market... Thank you Tom!
  2. Whatever I do, it has the mind of it's own. Even NVR time decides to go one hour back even thou I set it at GMT. On camera interface, UTC is the only available option. It is just annoying.
  3. I don't know if cameras are set to sync with NVR, but they are not synching at all. NVR time also tends to change by 1hr by iteself.
  4. I have also come across this setting;
  5. I did so, but cameras still have different time from NVR. Hello I couldn't find those settings via NVR menu... however when I go to web browser and access camera directly via IP and web interface, there is time settings and NTP option, but still no "OSD" options? Please see screenshots. On the below screenshot, by clicking on "Setting" nothing will appear, like it is dead button. Screenshot from camera web interface.
  6. Hello all At my work we have 2x NVR5864-4KS2 NVR's running total of just over 70 dahua bullet cameras. Our problem is that we cannot set NVR and IP camera clock to GMT. Camera's tend to have different time settings then NVR, and when we update the time, it still does not sync. This is really creating issues when we have to investigate workplace incidents and each camera showing different time. Any advice how to solve this? Many Thanks !

    Power is provided directly via NVR? Is RJ45 also plugged into the camera directly or are the wires connected directly without the plug? (sorry, I'm only used to BNC connectors, am good with rj45 crimping thou) My budget is £1k I use windows (pc) and android (mobile). If you know any potential practical racks for this project also please recommend. Many Thanks again

    London, UK No, the stairs are in hallway only, noise is not an issue. See pic please (refurb works still to take place in that area + also there is plenty of cable slack) Also, I will be looking to get some sort of rack as here will be located broadband router plus 8 way network switch)

    Thank you for replying. Budget is not an issue since it is a small system I can honestly afford the better quality. I wasn't sure if poe is as stable as a standalone power supply, but since you say using poe is neater, that sounds good to me as dvr/nvr will be visible in the house, under the stairs. The tider, the better. Can you recommend nvr + cams for me? Thanks

    DVR + Cameras recommendations

    Hi everyone We are undergoing major refurbishments in the house and have decided to install 4 CCTV cameras around the house (1x facing back yard, 1x side of the house, 2x front of the house). As per my instruction, the workers have run cables (CAT 5e) from each camera point to central point under the stairs where DVR will stand. The longest cable run from dvr is 20m. I am now looking for advice/recommendations on the best solution for cameras and dvr/nvr etc. I have asked around and have been told that dahua HDCVI system is a good choice. Can anyone recommend a good system for best picture quality? Many Thanks
