HIGH DEFINITION ON INDY RACE CARS! www.indianapolismotorspeedway.com If you watched the in Indy 500, then you probably noticed a unique camera view where it rotated in 360 panning degrees! This is not new to auto racing, but High Definition is! High Def is a real treat where you will be able to make out the telementry lights off of the steering wheel! 6 cars were specially hand picked to carry these cameras. The first question you will ask is did these select cars have a disadvantage from an aerodynamic point of view? These cameras were mounted on specially designed shells atop the cars intake. Broadcast Sports, Inc. worked with the Indy League to design, and wind tunnel test the mounts to make sure that they could handle speeds up to 220 miles per hour. These cameras really shined during car passes, and watching the event during pit stops. You have the approach, turn in, and stop, pit event, and you have the take off, traffic merge in pit row, and the capability to see everything on all four corners! This camera system became a "forensic" evidence when Danica Patrick was sideswiped by Ryan Briscoe coming out of pit row on lap 171. You saw first hand the bump, and then the left rear suspension being smashed in realtime causing her to crash, and watch her chances at an Indy win come to a complete stop! http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5jTZ6rfrkXnQ-ykVBfdbUMXMK1B2AD90ST3R01 http://www.danicaracing.com/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Danica_Patrick http://www.ryanbriscoe.com/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ryan_Briscoe If you are a true race fan then you will want to view this! A COFDM microwave transmission link provided non line-of-sight transmission of the AV bit stream to production and satellite uplink units. The WW20000BA video encoder was used in these camera systems to compress the video in HD broadcast quality at bit rates low enough and with very low latency, to make live coverage in HD over wireless links possible from cameras within the racecars. http://news.thomasnet.com/companystory/510904

Perhaps you can use a lense over the camera that will give a better picture with the bright light. This product is unavailable, but it will give you an idea of what I am talking about. http://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10551&storeId=10151&langId=-1&partNumber=VF67ND&CategoryName=acc_DIAccessories_DIFilters&DCMP=OVERTUREPI_DF Photographers have a cover that goes over the lense, and you rotate it till you get the shot that you need. This is used a for when you have to shoot through glass, and you need to eliminate the glare! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polarizer

I thought you were asking a question, then I realized that you were refering to yourself. Rory, you are first on the list, that is why I asked you about your passport status! Do you want a corp office position, or a store location? District manager, or computer/cctv tech? Short term employment, or permanent position?

8-9 Ch DVR w/ alarm out & email w/ snapshoot notify
scorpion replied to rriospr's topic in Digital Video Recorders
It comes with software called Video Server E. This will allow you to email, or to send video to your computers desk top, and convert the video to AVI. You can download the AVC 785 manual if you like. This info is on page 37 of the AVC 785 manual. This is a much better DVR then the AVC 776W, but it still has the same video server attached to it. I like the 785 DVR. It has other options where you can add a disk array for more storage. It has a plug for IR control if you have to remote the DVR somewhere else. I hope that webpage is not information overload! -
Mark Lynch is the guy that replaced me when I left in OCT 07 I would never do anything that was illegal. I would never disclose to a business that I installed surveillance!! I would never have the trust of a PI ever again if they thought I would rat out an operation! Then again the PIs that I work with are squared away! I have never heard of that PI in the story! She has a lot to learn, and the hard way!

I have just been sitting in limbo for now. I am opening several stores. I will be a direct competitor. They will be closed down in short time with out any help on my part. I could close them down in the first day of my grandopening, but I am not that type. It was a 50/50 Relationship that ended up having baggage that I was unaware of in the begining. I have parted ways with the partner, and I separated on good terms. If he had some kind of problem, I would be the first to step up, and help out. He is a good guy. I ended up in a situation where I did not want to be. I terminated the relationship in NOV of 06, but then I hung out for another year to get him through a tough time that the business was going through, and then I left in OCT 07. Had you been in my shoes you would have left the first month, but I am a man of my word, even though our arrangement was on a hand shake, and I stuck it through to see if I could make some worthwhile changes, and then I realized that I could not. I waited a while as not to create to much of a conflict of interest. I had a non partner investor ready to roll in DEC 07, then his wife came down with cancer, and I could not blame the guy for backing out of deal even though I had him by the balls with signed contract. I let him off the hook as I had to respect the guy that family comes first! I would probably have done the same if it was my wife. I got torn a new one if you know what I mean. I already prepaid radio advertising, print advertising, and first, last, and sec deposit, ATT lines and I had a crushing blow that pains me to this day. I had it set up that I was going to buy people's telephone numbers. I was going to get 111 CCTV, 222 CCTV, 333 CCTV ect. When he pulled back (with permission) the cat got out of the bag, and people are now asking for more money. I would have paid $5000.00 per number, but we had some lined up to sell their number for $1000.00, and some expenses such as replacing one mans business cards, and some radio advertisment to get his new number out there. Everytime I think about that I cringe. If I could buy them all right now, then I would do it in a flash. It would make advertising so much easier. It makes the customer remember the number much easier when heard. I stole this idea from Papa John's Pizza as they have 111 PAPA, 222 PAPA! There are business around that do video surveilance, but there is no one that "hits it hard". With my former partnership I had the opportunity to create more profit X 10!!!! They do not realize what they have in their business. The guy that owns it is an absentee owner, and is big in the construction biz, and the store is just a secondary thought for him. Every time I see the store I just have to hang, my head, and shake it slowly back, and forth, as it makes me sad to see the diamond in the rough, and nothing being done about it. _____________________________________________________________ HERE IS HOW THE PLACE IS NOW!! http://www.sunbiz.org/scripts/ficidet.exe?action=DETREG&docnum=G01270900196&rdocnum=G01270900196 Note the expiration date on the DBA name. I have thought about registering it under my name! If someone were to just "accidently" register it to my name then maybe I could play the innocent "victim" as someone thought it was my business, and they thought they were "helping" me out. If it was another competitor, then it is a dog eat dog world, and I would register as fast as I can, and then I would send a cease, and desist letter to the business. If I did this, then I think it would be in poor taste. It is their responciblity to take care of their property. Enough time has elapsed that I am thinking about taking over the name. They had the time, and the opportunity. Maybe I will sell the name back to them for $10,000.00! OUCH! _____________________________________________________________ http://www.spybusters.com/blog/labels/weird.html 16 Extra Eyes in the Florida Eye Institute SpyCam Story #441 The mysterious tale of 16 SpyCams, 16 Microphones, and a recorder! FL - A 45-year-old Vero Beach woman has been arrested on eight felony charges that allege illegal electronic eavesdropping on doctors, copying hard drives from their computers and the theft of a laptop. But the seven-page complaint filed by the State Attorney's Office against Brenda Doan-Johnson, of the 3400 block of Atlantic Boulevard, does not explain why she supposedly paid a Melbourne man to place cameras and microphones in the private offices of three doctors at the Florida Eye Institute in Vero Beach. Both a Jan. 24 Vero Beach Police report and a Jan. 28 civil lawsuit filed by three of Dr. Paul V. Minotty's business partners, say Minotty, founder of the institute, had hired a private investigator and the police report identified her as Doan-Johnson. According to the state attorney's complaint affidavit, Doan-Johnson paid Mark Lynch, of Spy Source Warehouse in Melbourne, with a $6,000 personal check as deposit on $13,000 to install 16 video cameras, 16 microphones and a digital recorder at various places in the Florida Eye Institute — including the offices of doctors Karen Todd, Mark Gambee and Val Zudan. Lynch worked after business hours for six days, starting Jan. 11, to install the equipment, the affidavit states, noting that audio recording apparently did not function. Investigators reported that Doan-Johnson introduced Lynch to two other people who also were working in the building, identifying them as computer forensic specialists who were copying the hard drives from the desk computers of doctors Gambee, Todd, Zudan and Thomas Baudo. According to investigators, Lynch phoned Gambee (!?!?!) Jan. 24 and told him about installing the electronics in Florida Eye Institute offices — including Gambee's office. The Vero Beach police were called to Florida Eye Institute the same day. Gambee told Vero Beach officers his computer was missing. Doan-Johnson returned it, saying it was thought to be company property... _____________________________________________________________ http://www.tcpalm.com/news/2008/apr/26/no-headline---26vwiretap/ VERO BEACH — A 45-year-old Vero Beach woman has been arrested on eight felony charges that allege illegal electronic eavesdropping on doctors, copying hard drives from their computers and the theft of a laptop. Neither Minotty or his lawyers could be reached Friday. West Palm Beach attorney James McCann, representing Gambee, Zudan, Todd and Baudo, said he didn't know whether Minotty had hired Doan-Johnson to place the cameras and microphones in the doctors' offices. "That's something that's going to have to come out in discovery," McCann said, referring to sworn testimony given in lawsuits. Doan-Johnson was released from Indian River County jail after posting $45,000 bond. She could not be reached Friday for comment. The State Attorney's Office had no comment, saying the case was still under investigation.

10 Commandments of Proper Cable Termination
scorpion replied to scorpion's topic in Video Transmission/Control Devices
The AVTech does not record the dead channels with motion detection. With motion detection it is only recording what is active. I do not record 24/7, so I have never paid much attention to whether it would record at 30 fps of dead channels that are checked to be on, or not. Good question though. It would only pay attention to the channels that are checked to be on, and it would ignore the other channels that are unchecked. When I am testing DVRs before they go out to the customer you can see the playback of a quad with just one camera in view, then you will see another view pop on, and so forth until you see all cams in view. Then you get to watch me flap my arms like a bird trying to activate the motion detection. So that I know which sequence of "footage" that I am dealing with I have to do a different action each time. I will have my arms straight out, then I will have my elbows bent to my Rolling Stones Impression of a chicken, then it will be just a hand flutter. I learned along time ago to erase the hard drive prior to customers getting the DVRs as I would be embarrassed when they would see my motion detection tests!!! As the airline say "Want to go somewhere"? -

If you are on a budget, and you are willing to except some lower grade video quality, then I would recommend the AVC 776W. Go to this link, and you can see a photo of the product that I speak of. http://scorpiontheater.com/cpcamtechsupport.aspx You can scroll down and find the manual for this DVR. This will allow you to read it before you buy it to see if it meets your needs. The DVR is great for a budget system, and you can watch it over the internet. There are some limitations to the internet device built in to the DVR, and you may want to pay more for a better DVR if viewing over the internet is important to you. -

Yes, the blackness on your monitor that just popped up is now a new video source. You got me?? I do not think it would change the settings of any equipment on a loop through circuit! Why would you remove power from a device other than product failure, or temp maintentance? -
