    Question/Recommendations for a sports bar.

Cut And Paste the Link http://www.gviss.com/Portals/0/GVIProductImages/350/SCC-931T English Spec.pdf http://avssys.net/?s=product&sub=camera&cat=outdoor&p=vnd49ir http://eclipsecctv.com/ECL-CPIR_hidden_camera.html http://eclipsecctv.com/ECL-CPIRD_hidden_camera.html They no longer carry this camera in stock, but this worked great for pool tables, dart boards, seating area ect. This is a great way to mix up a budget so that you can afford more expensive cameras elsewhere! http://eclipsecctv.com/ECL-374.html Use the most expensive camera that you can afford for the front door, back door, and the register. ATM machine if they have one also. Use the AVSsys cam where you may need the IR for dark, or after close. Order both PIR in advance to see which works better for you environment. The basic one works pretty good as long as you have black lights, rope lights ect. If there is an attic space then you can take the camera lead, and disconnect it from the board inside of the PIR, and then you can take this "pigtail" up in to the attic, and press the wire through a small hole in to the area below where the pigtail can go in to the back of the PIR, and your connections can be made in the attic instead. The pigtail is about 6 to 8 inches long. I cut out a center divider inside the PIR, and I put the siamese wire inside of the PIR, and then I make my video, and power connections on the inside of the case, and I spray paint the whole thing black prior to the installation if it is for true covert in a dark club/bar. I started using this camera instead lately http://www.usaginc.com/pdf/avc2.pdf Here is what I use for PTZ. http://www.cctvoutlet.com/ECL-SP300E_mini_ptz.html For other readers of this post, then have your Tax ID, and your business info before you call these contacts. Manual for the Samsung. I use these outdoors, and I use them indoors in very dark places such as Gentleman's Clubs ect. http://www.norbain.co.uk/downloads/manuals/scc-931tp.pdf
  2. There is no solution for a DVR with better specs, and that price range. I do not know why your DVR is giving you worse performance when compared to a VCR. I am wondering if you are using wide angle cameras, and you are suffering from distance distortion rather than a DVR that is heavily pixalated. Are you recording in frame, or CIF? There are tradeoffs with many DVR, and in every price range. You can have excellant video, but the video will appear more of a series of snap shots. It sound like you a need a $1,500, or higher dollar value DVR to achieve the specs that you are requesting. If price is of the essence then trying changing cameras to at least a 6mm lens. What lens are you using as of now, (for both individuals who posted)?

    Try this trick!

See your name appear in the notification area right next to the time on your computer. Access the Control Panel from the Start menu. Double click Regional and Language Options. Click the Customize button in the Standards And Formats panel of the Regional Options tab. When the Customize Regional Options dialog box appears, select the Time tab. In the AM Symbol and PM Symbol boxes, you can replace that text with your name or whatever word you want, as long as it is no longer than 12 characters. To complete the operation, click OK twice — once to close the Customize Regional Options dialog box and once to close the Regional And Language Options dialog box. See your name appear in the notification area right next to the time.

    Outdoor Mobile Covert

How about a hunting Camera that is strapped to a tree? For covert use, then use the IR flash, and not the traditional flash bulb. Do not use the 35mm film type if you need to look at the pictures right away. If you really need to see the pictures fast then make sure that the camera system has an LCD screen. http://scorpiontheater.com/game.aspx Stuff some leaves in the straps, and you should be good to go! The bigger the camera, the bigger the holes will be. There will be two holes: 1 for cam 2 for IR Flash (or reg flash for none covert).

When you have a three year old and a five year old that want to sit in your lap while you are trying to use the computer then you find ways to entertain them (or yourself)! To answer your question this thread is a fake. This is all just in your mind. Now close your eyes. When I snap my fingers you will awake, and bark like a dog!

    avc 776w -recorded videos problem

That is common. Video Server S Software cannot read up to a Video Server E machine. Video Server E in some cases is "backwards" compatable. If you have Video Server E then you will find that you will like it much better than VS S. I am really glad to hear that your dealer got you going. If you would give that company a shout out!

I have set up an account so that you can access the website design. You can "try it before you buy it"! LOL! Go ahead and do what ever you want. Do not worry about destroying the site as there is nothing there to ruin. wwwscorpiontheater.com is another story!! I would really hate to rebuild that site from scratch!!! Yikes!
  25. Do not change the LS SS TS and the RE just yet. Do you have a manual? It will describe how to change those settings. _____________________________________________________________ HOW TO SET UP MOTION DETECTION WITH THE FOLLOWING DVRs AVC 760, AVC 761, AVC 781, AVC 782, AVC 782A If your motion detection screen is pink then it is not recording. Pink is used for motion masking such as trees, bushes, ect. If your screen is clear, then that is the correct setting for detection. select ADVANCE select DETECTION Move the cursor to the second column marked DET, make sure it says ON for all of the cameras that you have hooked up. Now move the cursor to the third column marked AREA. On cam one press enter. If the page is pink then this is not seeing "motion", if it is clear than it is looking for motion to trigger recording. Here is the hard part to describe. Find where the cursor is blinking (probably around the center of the screen somewhere) using the left arrow move it to the far left of your screen, using the up arrow go all the way to the top of the screen. Press enter (this marks a starting point), move the cursor down to the bottom of the screen, (do not touch any buttons except arrow/directional buttons), when you get to the bottom of the screen use the right arrow, and move the cursor to the right. Here is what you should be seeing. When you pressed enter at the top of the screen the square went from pink to clear, as you pressed the arrow down the whole column became clear. As you used the right arrow the screen slowly became clear as you worked your way to the right. When you get to the right side of the screen you can move your hand in front of a camera and you will see all of the squares "activating" as it follows your movements. Press ENTER to stop the selection process. You are now good to go for motion detection. Press MENU to back out of camera one area, and press the down arrow to get to camera two area. Press ENTER, and repeat steps for each camera. Here is a trick. If you have some outdoor cameras, and you have some bushes, trees, ect, then you can set up motion masking. Now the bushes, and trees will not trigger your cameras. Move the cursor to where you want to start a motion area. Start at the top of this area, press enter, go down as many squares as you need then work your way to the left or right to make a "masking" box. Press enter to stop the selection process. You can now freely move the cursor. Go to your next area that you want motion detection, and make your box, rectangle, or just go wild to get all of the nooks, and cranny around moving objects. Press menu to get out of AREA, press menu to get out of Detection. Go to RECORD go to event record press enter. It should say YES Press menu to get out of the menu pages. Note: Some DVRs may have a pink screen with a clear center area. Turn the center area pink then continue with the instuctions to set up detection.
