AVTECH Java Applet problem under OS X Firefox
scorpion replied to Steve Evans's topic in Digital Video Recorders
This is above my head, but I am curious to see what the resolution would be! -
They have those ceiling tiles that have smoke colored domes, and they just drop right in to the grid. I do not have a link for a source. Look through some of these magazines and I bet you will find the manufacture, or a dist. http://scorpiontheater.com/cctvmag.aspx

EBay found liable for counterfeit goods! http://www.itnews.com.au/News/77960,ebay-found-liable-for-counterfeit-goods.aspx By Robert Jaques 10 June 2008 02:13PM Tags: ebay | liable | counterfeit | goods EBay has been hit with a €20,000 fine after being found liable for counterfeit goods sold on its site. The landmark ruling, which is the first in a long line of such lawsuits, may set a precedent that puts liability on eBay for all counterfeit goods sold on its site in the future.. In the latest case a French court found in favour of French luxury group Hermes. While eBay has consistently honoured takedown requests on counterfeit items, the ruling does not bode well for future lawsuits. EBay is also known to be in the crosshairs of Tiffany and Louis Vuitton, among others. Portero.com, an online auction marketplace that authenticates branded luxury products, estimates that as much as $15bn, or 10 per cent of the branded luxury goods sold globally, are counterfeit. "Every luxury brand has an obligation to protect consumers against counterfeits, and consumers should make every effort to ensure that the branded luxury goods they purchase online or through any other distribution channel are legitimate," said Milton Pedraza of the Luxury Institute. "Portero's authentication model is a necessity in order to protect consumers and manufacturers from being victimised by counterfeit merchandise." Michael Sheldon, founder and chief executive at Portero, added: "Since I founded Portero in 2004, we have implemented the most stringent authentication standards in the online marketplace. "I believe that the tremendous success we have achieved to date, and the fact that we have tripled our sales in the past 12 months, result from our unwavering commitment to these standards and the trust consumers place in Portero." _____________________________________________________________ Lets hope the DVR card companies rally together!!

You can control an outdoor strobe. You could control flood lights, or other devices. Nice features to have. Why does your system have to be so quite? With the fans that they shove in them I am surprised you can hear the relay!

Start asking cabling questions, and then you will get all kinds of divergent types, and lots of pros, and cons, and distance limitations!

I am not smart, and I have no time!! LOL!!! I wanted you to hand me an emulator for free delivered on a velvet pillow, sitting on a silver tray!! Is this too much to ask?? YES? Oh darn!

Hey kiwi44, I justed wanted to know what changes did you have to make to get your system up, and running? I did not know if it was one particular item, or a series of items that resolved your issue? Thanks! -
Samsung 1630 DVR. Can this be viewed with a IE browser, or can I only view it with the AP viewer? Thanks!
-
You have my undivided attention! Tell me more in detail. I have never used a sector editor, and I do not know where to get one. Which "logic analyzer did you have in mind? Thanks!
-
It is designed this way so someone cannot alter the video. There fore you would have to create an "emulator" program that would run on your PC to allow you to view your hard drive. For us to create one we would have to sell a million units, and we cannot find enough people to put one together. If you create one let us know!

To keep from voiding the warranty (removing the board from the chassis), I just stick a piece of tape over the piezo device.

Yes, I did think it was strange that I missed his post!! I usually follow the red dots on new posts. I am wondering if there was an issue like the lady from China who felt left out from her introduction? Maybe my new post indicator is not working as well, as I ingore non "highlighted" post. I usually look for 0 responses as well. Maybe I was to busy writing a novel somewhere else on the forum?? Things that make you go HMMMMMMMMM! Hey RickA, You make a point of going out of your way, and greeting every new comer to the forum. Were you off the forum this weekend?
-
You can make all of the camera make the buzzer go off with detection, or you can make all of the camera silent to detection. As the noise is annoying you may not want 4 cams beeping all of the time. You could uncheck "detection" in the boxes for the other cameras leaving one camera to detect motion detection. You could then set the DVR to record by timer, or record 24/7. Look at page 18 of your manual. What do you think?

Help for a noob! How to connect a box camera to a pc
scorpion replied to peterj's topic in Video Transmission/Control Devices
If you cannot answer your own question then this product is not for you. We do not use this kind of a product so you are going down a new path. Get out your machette, and start hacking away! I would recommend buying the correct items, and do it in a normal fashion.
