Sometimes, the voltage of POE ports are around DC19V, not DC48V, this setting could save a lot of cost.

Here is my solution:
1.Connect the Lan port of NVR with one of lan port of router(usually have 4 ports) , so the first 16pcs cameras are online.
2.Connect the lan port of POE switch to the lan port of router directly, so the next 16pcs cameras are online.

Right, the best way is using 24 AC. The volt will be no lose.
Or you could adjust the power supply to increase the DC volt, example 15V, the closest and furtherest will have different volt. That is why some camera have WD type.
