Yes, looks like it.

OK. You will want two static IP's behind one router. Each DVR will have a public IP. Your ISP may have a good router to do this. If not, use the Cisco SOHO 90 Series. http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/cc/pd/rt/ps4866/index.shtml But you will need someone to help you announce the IP range in the Cisco routers. I have two people in support who worked for UUNET and MIC. We may be able to help you out. j

We have 3 GV systems in the office. How do you protect yourself from the boards coming in from China? -
Why I wouldn’t sell Geovision

Yes. The Kodicom now runs on XP. We have just started testing with embedded XP. I think my first impression of Geo was a bad one. “I don’t get it.†-
I've never found a good consumer grade product that bridges very well. Proxim is very good at this.

This will not be easy. You will need a router that can announce two IP address and route them to the proper location. May I recommend Cisco. Or you can use two different ports on the DVR’s to transmit video. Your remote software must have the ability to change ports on a per site basis. Are these PC base or embedded? What manufacture? Can you change the ports that the video transmits on? Can you specify the ports that the client software uses on a per site basis?

Ok, here is my two cents. If you want something low down and dirty that will do a good job … use the Kodicom 516. Good price, all the features of PC based, all the stability of embedded. http://www.kodicom.com/www2004_01/Products/Eng/Prod_ksr516.asp BTW, we laugh about the Geo systems.

Kodicom/Diginet DVR card question
heloder replied to bviewer's topic in DVR Cards and Software - PC Based Systems
Alex is Pine. The 4 CH Kodicom is cool, but it has a design flaw. I'm not sure if Kodicom has fixed it yet. The 32 CH is like none I have ever seen. Very good 32 CH. -
