It comes down to this.... you get what you pay for. We sell the Argus units. They are a low end solution. The units just feel cheap. The remote stinks, BUT....... they are cheap. I would rather sell our 516 for embedded. But some EU's just won't pay!

ASUS is Kodicom's "supported" board. We use ASUS and intel.

Use a quad with looping outs. Most PC DVR's just rotate the picture.

Kodicom released a new driver and new software for XP. 98 is no longer supported.

What capture size do you have the system set at? What transfer quality ?

Where did you buy your kodicom boards?

you need a video injector. The dvd signal will be a normal CATV channel. I'll see if I can find a link.

No need to post a pic. If it came from China, or HK, its counterfeit. What version of software did it come with?

Let it record for 60 days. If it runs w/o any problems it passes. Then you move the the 6 month test.

Do the "60 Day DVR Test" and let me know.

I can tell you that the original poster to this thread knows nothing of DVR cards or the current CCTV market. He purchased counterfeit product on the internet, and then went to legitimate companies for support. When he did not receive support, he posted here. Wouldn’t you become rude if someone was stealing from you? My advice is to buy from authorized dealers so these things don’t happen.

I would do KVM over IP. This will give you the best quality and best control.

I think they sell into Walmart/SamsClub. But I don't know them. From the looks of it, no one else does either.
