Dear PPL,
I hope I can get some help on this as this is all new to me and would like to setup a good ssytem for the house.
1. Which DVR 16Ch system is best and recommended and captures 1080p image quality and have object masking capability and the ability to review remotely recorded videos?
2. Is it prefereable to have POE system in respect to the cameras and conenction to the DVR?
3. I have read up on use of high speed Powerline adapters but not sure where this would be conenct to to supply power...Ie the DVR or else where
4. Camera system - Dome or bullet for outdoor and which recommended in terms of viewing angle to best capture.
5. Finally, How big would the systems HDD need to be if it is a 16 CH system running for say 30 days or is it preferable to set the system for motion detection to save space?
I know it seems a lot to ask for, but after much research and reading from all around the world on different models, I now get the feeling that every one is saying their system is good only to sell it to the consumer. That is why I am grateful to have found this forum and ask you ladies and gents to receive an objective view and recommendations.
