I know there are others that have this DVR. Because it is hard to find the manual on-line, I need to get answers to questions here. - What sort of control can be done with the rs-232 port? I assume at minimum one can switch which channel is displayed on the VGA/HDMI output? - Does the snapshot URL work for each channel? What is the URL? - Does FTP upload of shapshots work? Is there an rs-232 spec? Does anyone have a link/post of the manual for this thing? Thx

Hi, I need to spec an NVR that will record at up to 15-30 Mbps on a single channel. This is for an HD camera that is recording quick action, and cannot have any compression artifacts. There will be several other IP cameras too, but there is no requirement for such high bandwidth for them. I see that some NVR's will advertise full 30 fps on all channels, but that is at 4 Mpbs. Not enough for this application. Will Hikvision/Dahua allow up 15-30 Mbps on a single channel at the expense of the other channels? Other vendors that may work? Thanks.
