    Hello I have a question does anyone know of a wireless unit the you can bridge motion sensor inputs to a DVR card. I need to position motion sensor out in a parking lot that I can not get wire to; to detect motion. The Cameras are to sensative using the motion feature; I'm looking for a wireless solution to make the connection to these sensors.Any suggestions? Any suggestions would be greatly appriciated cctvfl

    The light faces one side to the lot its covering and the other side the building; not sure how well it will be seen but Thats what I was going to try next.

    I have Installed Several Cameras around a car Dealership just recently using motion to Catch people comming onto the Lot ( caught to bad guys last night) my problem is that I have two Red strobes that reside above the cameras; my Geo Card fires the strobes when motion is detected; however my problem is that the cameras think the strobe is motion; setting up a propetual recoding machine. Has anyone tried using s light with the Cameras and motion? If I leave the strobes off it works great; the storbe lights were at the request of the owner; any suggestions on how I can make this work.     Hello Could someone explain what the terms mean that some PTZ's use a couple of the manuals I have for the PTZ s are not written with a full expanation; I'm sure thats because they are translated and re-written for the states. For example What is Frame Scan ? Call v.s. presets ? these are just a few Thanks for your help in advance...

    Hello First time posting on site but have learned a lot from the knowleadagble professionals who post! Thank You! I have a new Geovision Card GV-1240 that works great; however I can not get the masking feature for motion to work on each camera. When I click the button for masking for example, then draw over a tree it shows the box as I am dragging the mouse as if its going to make the box; but when I realease the mouse the box goes away. I have tried this several different ways clearing it and starting over again; I cannot get this feature to work as the manual states Does anyone have a suggestion on what I'm doing wrong. the software version is 8.1v Thanks for your help in advance cctvfl
