    Yes never thought of that thanks but I don't know weather the heat would be an issue for the DVR in the summer.

    Hello everyone i am currently in the process of installing an 8 camera system in my detached bungalow, all the cables will be run into the attic space as this is where the ducting was run to. what i would like to do if possible is site the DVR in the attic aswell and im hoping the remote will work from the bedroom as there is only a single plasterboard wall between. if this dosn't work my question is this, is there anything out there similar to the magic eyes used for sky TV so i can leave the DVR in the attic. thanks Dave.
