Hi all,
Whats the best method of mounting an IP camera flush to a brick wall without seeing the cables and connections. Ive been looking into up-grading from Analog dome cameras to IP.
I have seen various makes online but they never have many pictures of the rear of the camera units. Allthough I like the idea of P.O.E single cable connection, the RJ45 connection units on the camera fly leads look massive. Can these be hidden inside the units?
Looking at the size of the connectors I would estimate having to drill a 25mm - 30mm hole in the wall to pass all the connections through in to the floor void to connect up, which I don't really want to do.
The domes I have at the moment have an optional space that fits between the camera body and the wall and you can tuck all connections inside these nicely , is there such thing availiable for the IP type camera?
