As 5mp is going to be well above 1080p i would suggest lowering the camera resolution via a web interface before connecting to nvr
-
here is rtsp link http://www.urcctvstore.com/Download/20150808/Enable_RTSP_protocol_20150907.update nvr only works with h264 format and think old sricam use jpeg or mjpeg.
-
Default ip is 192.16.1.188 You only need to forward ports if accessing from remote location. If you have an android phone use fing to see if nvr is live on your network.
-
When i upgraded to the latest firmware both video outputs stopped working, loading screen would still show but disappear when camera views should have been displayed, downgrading firmware did not restore displays. Fixed by using Internet Explorer 192.168.1.188 as that is default unless you have changed it. Install active x control as prompted them reset via local settings.

got display back by using ie to reset all nvr defaults

Did anyone who lost video output after firmware update manage to resolve the issue ? if so how ? thanks

i used the wd drive recommended until it failed, have since used a different wd drive and also old laptop drive via esata.
-
Hi maara You need to change the stream (4x[1280x720]). This first part has to be equal or greater than the resolution of the cameras.
-
I use an esata cable with an extra usb lead build in for extra power and that works fine http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-5-inch-Hard-Disk-Drive-HDD-SATA-22-Pin-to-eSATA-Data-USB-Power-Cable-50CM-ne-/181871840897?hash=item2a58680e81:g:OQ4AAOSwQTVV-M62

same issue all outputs dead

new firmware finally available at... http://www.urcctvstore.com/Download.html

ensure nvr port is forwarded in your router and mobile data is enabled in goolink app.
-
personally i would ditch using ie with nvr. nvr only works and not very well with ie and not with other browsers including w10 browser. in windows use free vms software that allows you to change settings and view streams from nvr. On android use goolink app. many hours have been wasted trying to use browsers when the alternatives are way better.

goolink site is working

Hi ybarakov, HDMI is not compatible with all TV's, works fine on my 1080p samsung but not on my older 1080i samsung. How are you trying to record? manual or via schedule?
-
just too add if you plug in an unformatted or incompatible format drive the nvr will auto format anyway so don't think that is the issue, can you screen shot the nvr drive screen ?
-
when formatting drive in the nvr have you selected via tick box on the left of the drive you want to fomat ?
-
Yes it is secure as it is within your local network as it seams that is how i12 profile seems to work best, if you forward the camera port in your router then it will be insecure.
-
hi ybarakov , try removing camera save and reboot then auto detect camera again and use admin as user but DO NOT add password. I use 4 local escam q520's on I12 and they all connect without a password.
-
i downgraded to 20150808 firmware and using the 20160302 goolink update on 8 ch. rtsp and goolink both working perfect, didn't need to change or register device id on website or android app. older versions still available here... http://www.unitoptek.com/?article=detail&id=133

the new escam firmware has a bug so only one source at a time can connect via rtsp, so if i already streaming to vlc cannot connect to nvr and visa vera. to get around this i have old firmware on camera that uses multiple sources. just trying to offer solutions that i have used.
-
the stream i posted is added as rtsp as it is not at the same location as nvr, is rtsp enabled on the camera as the escams i use do have a tick box to enable or disable?
-
i have an escam q520 that i use rtsp to connect to that is a security camera at a remote location no problems using the following stream rtsp://xx.xx.xx.xx:554/user=xxxxxx_password=xxxxxxxx_channel=1_stream=0.sdp?real_stream if you have created a personal account on the camera just replace x for your ip user name and password in the above.
