  1. Hi All, I'm new to this forum and almost at wits end trying to figure out viewing my home dvr on my mobile device. My set up is: -Generic H.264 DVR -Motorola SBG6580 router in short.. I have my port forwarding all set up. I can view my CCTV DVR on my laptop (in network when I'm at home and out of network when I'm at work). My problem is viewing on my mobile device. I have a Samung Galaxy S5. Now I must say this, I believe my issue is an android issue... i think.. Here is my reasoning. To trouble shoot I've used a iPhone 5s side by side with my phone. I downloaded identical apps found on both iTunes for the iPhone and the Google Play Store for my GS5. The apps are iWatch DVR and Bubo Bubo. Using the ip address for my dvr and login credentials I can view my video feeds on the iPhone.. using either the iWatch DVR app or the Bubo Bubo app. I get an error on both apps using my GS5.. to make matters worse, i also got a hold of an iPad mini 2, a Samsung Galaxy Exhibit and a Galaxy Tab 7 tablet. Using the same apps it works on the iPad mini flawlessly but not on either of the other Samsung devices.. I have no idea if this is an Android issue or a Samsung issue. Since I can view my DVR on my laptop and a mobile device (albeit not MY mobile device) i'm assuming that all my port forwarding is correct.. I suppose I can narrow it down more and borrow someones HTC or Nexus 6 to confirm it is an android issue. Clearly Samsung devices hate my DVR. Any guidance or advice is welcome...
