  1. im after a half decent DVR that will work with windows either via a browser or programme. need 4 channels min, not too worried on space as can fit my own drive. think the cameras are TVI or AHD, they came with the old DVR, which i locked myself out of, a Floureon A6808nhs-uk which would no longer work with edge or chrome even using the IE compatibility modes, something to do with the activex and flash.
  2. hmm got a link to any suppliers? quick google is bringing up other brands.
  3. no it seems IE was finally killed off recently by microsoft. ill have a look for that brand cheers.
  4. ive managed to lock our A6808nhs-uk dvr and Floureon seem to be gone. do i need to show the serial label or will this lock code suffice? 59820174
  5. Do you mean the code I’ve listed is wrong?
  6. cant find where i can get a password reset from for our FLOUREON A6808nhs-uk. this has come about because the web access doesnt work anymore due to no support, so tried using it direct via a monitor and mouse. it didnt accept the password we use for the web access and is now locked giving code 59820174.
  7. im after a universal prog that can access dvrs on a windows 10 pc.
  8. weve got a Floureon DVR that is about 6 years old and uses a plugin to run the web access. ive tried both Edge in IE mode and Chrome with a IE tab. nether can get past the activex plugin requirement. any ideas?
  9. was using a windows 10 pc. is there a windows program i could add the dvr to to access it instead? i seem to remember some progs that you can add multiple dvrs and ip cams to.
  10. tried that doesnt work complains about activex.
  11. dvr is a A6808nhs-uk, i wonder if theres any new firmware?
  12. im after the latest firmware for the above as the last one i got was from 2017.
  13. Want an ip dome for our front door with 2 way audio. Human tracking would be nice. I’ve tried a Ctronics CTIPC-285C and the mic turns off after a few minutes from power up. The firmware looks like the same stuff my Dads ip camera has and that isn’t ptz. I’m guessing all these Chinese domes and ip cams are using the same firmware. I don’t want to spend a fortune. I have a Foscam indoor cam which was maybe double the price of the Chinese cams, and it looks and performs very similar so not impressed.
  14. thanks for replying. its on a Dahau 5104h DVR.
  15. need some advice on the best settings? had a weird thing where even though people were moving the video skips 20 secs.
  16. im finding the playback on the dvr annoying. it seems to have trouble with large object moving in the field of view and occasionally will blur the recording for maybe 1 sec. whats causing it? ive got the dvr set to 4096kbps CBR for all cams. could it be it cant handle this bit rate.
  17. what should I set the pre record to?
  18. I put a Samsung 2.5" 1TB drive I had in it. as when I checked a yale I had for about a week it had a standard desktop Seagate in it. ive dropped the bit rate to the default 2048kbps, which doesn't seem to have helped. yes the pre record is on 4, what should it be on? ill try a pull a screenshot.
  19. it seems to affect the moving object. almost like the dvr is caught off guard and is trying to catch up with the movement increase in bit rate needed. though this doesn't make sense if it is doing true cbr.
  20. cheers for all the replies will have a look through.
  21. tried some 3.6mm m12 lenses and the centre is ok but the edges of the image are blurred. any suppliers in UK or ship to UK that do better focussed ones?
  22. cheers for the info. ill have a look, though not sure if they post to the UK. my cameras were supposed to be 1/2.9" but the ebay'er is ripping people off and shipping 1/4" units. would I need 1/4" or 1/3" the camera output is 1280x768.
  23. last night one camera triggered a spell of about 2 hours of broken video, which had flashes of video from other channels in it, this was from the motion detect playback. then it just returned to normal. is it likely to be a problem with the camera? we did have some rain last night.
