    Hi, Does anyone know how to do a factory reset on these cameras. As still having problems.

    Swann PTZ Video Loss

    Hi, Yesterday my husband cleaned out PTZ camera just to remove spider webs, on returning indoors he went to the monitor to check all was still good and he then experienced complete Video Loss. Before hand the screen showed formate 720/25 it then changed to 720/30 now all we have is a blank screen with Video loss shown, if you go out side you can still move the camera with your mobile phone and via mouse but see absolutely nothing on the monitor. He spent over two hours on the phone to Swann who are absolutely useless telling him to change cables etc, all power is there he has switched everything off and back on again he kept telling my husband to got o the call preset and press 96 the preload which you set you self only goes as far as 1 - 10 as you set these yourself. Every other camera is working fine, no cables have been touched damaged or even moved. and to top it all every piece of our equipment has been bought and registered. Swann has no information on this, they are a terrible company we just need help in getting this up and running again .
  3. Hi, my husband bought a Swann 9 camera DVR January last year, it has now stopped recording. It also shows no memory, we have done a reboot on several occasions, placed the system onto a main plug rather than extension lead. Last but not least spent three long hours on the phone last night to tech support at Swann who were about as useful as a chocolate teapot. The had no answers whatsoever. We are at our wits end and do not know what to do. Has anybody else had these issues with the hope of helping me.
