I have a current 16 channel PC based hybrid DVR (from GNS). I don't use IP cameras, and only have 12 cameras. I would like to use an iPad on the local WiFi to be my main method of viewing the cameras. I currently have an app, but it is really bad - designed for an iPhone, and limited to 4 low quality images at the same time. I'd like to be able to view all my cameras at the same time, switch to only one camera, and control my 1 PTZ camera. I've resigned myself to replacing the entire DVR to get better support for my iPad.
What do you recommend as the best DVR with really good iPad support?
I'm currently thinking about the iDVR-PRO16A from cctvcamerapros. But I don't have any experience with it.
