What is the maximum bandwidth they allow in the mobile app gDMSS and PC based SmartPSS?? My connection is 20Mbps both ends connecting to NVR with 1080p and 3Mp cameras.. but gDMSS can only barely reach 1 Mbps and also SmartPSS can't seem to use the maximum bandwidth. Any got a clue? Thanks!

I have this 1080p pinhole camera with ultra low lux sensor.. when lights are very low.. I'm getting moving color banding artifacts (like in the following picture where you can see horizontal color line banding.. it's very dark area really). What is the exact terms for it.. is it normal?

I have tried the wireless dahua NVR and ip cams.. they can connect directly with each other because the wifi in the nvr is an AP (access point).. but I have another brand of wireless cam.. the nvr can't find it.. it can't find its MAC.. but I thought all wifi devices transmit MAC.. what differs in them? anyone got a clue?

I'd hide the pinhole camera above the ceiling of a warehouse where the atmosphere is hot.. about 40-45 Celsius. Provided the metal case can't remove the heat enough, and the electronics temperature rise.. what approx temperature before it melts the circuit boards? Anyone experience this happen before?

Hi, For normal bullet cameras like dahua or hikvision.. do they have fan inside the enclosure? If none.. won't the integrated circuits rise in temperature enough to melt the circuits or even burn the camera? Any experience in this? I have this small pinhole camera that is 1080p and the metal case is quite hot. This means the IC inside is very hot.. won't it burn? How many Celsius before the processor melt?

I notice the dahua NVR/DVR has Wifi setting in the network. Are these to suppose to work by plugging a wifi usb adaptor to the USB ports of the NVR/DVR (making these able to connect with router wireless)? What particular wifi adapter is compatible? I tried EDUP but it's not working so far.

My cameras and NVR are in an unattended building. If they cut the connections.. I'd be informed by text via the IPC Offline Alarm function and gsm dialer.. but this only works using external poe switch. But using the internal poe switch.. the moments you cut the connection.. the camera entry in the search menu vanishes and no alarm is triggered.. please try and share how you can retain the camara entry by actually trying it. My vault housing my NVR has tight space left for external poe ports because the heat generated inside is only channeled out using a small fan so I need a few components as possible.

First, try unpluging the camera end, but leaving the etherent plugged in at the NVR... Dahua must do a firmware upgrade to disable automatic poe detection and removal.. or what use would be the IPC Offline Alarm? Don't you guys use this feature? If anyone steal any of the cameras.. the NVR will dial gsm alarm module that will notify me security has be bridged.

The NVR is inside a small vault enclosure that can withstand RGP attack. So I don't open it often and the front touches the back of the vault resulting in the pressing of the on/off switch when I touch the back.

According to Dahua it is plug and play, the cams connect directly to the NVR, I am receiving mine next week and will confirm, will let you know Regards Hmm.... the NVR has built in router? Can other brand of wifi cameras connect to the wireless NVR too? Anyone?

My guess is that you still need a wifi router to connect the dahua wireless nvr and dahua wireless ip cameras.. because the wifi modules in each of them just connect to the router. is this correct?

Oh. I discovered something. IPC Offline Alarm will work if it the ip cams are located in separate external switches or routers. If the cameras are connected to the NVR internal POE ports.. it can't detect if they become offline (or the IPC Offline Alarm will not trigger). Anyone has ideas why? and what settings to adjust so it can detect its own POE ports and trigger the IPC Offline Alarm? I discovered the reason why the IPC Offline alarm doesn't get triggered when you connect your cameras to the internal poe switch. It's because the moment you removed the cameras.. the entry in the Search cameras menu disappear so it's like you didn't have any camera at all and the offline doesn't get trigger.. but putting them in external switches can retain the entry to trigger the alarm. I have now to look for expensive switches to to make it. But doesn't anyone know by chance how to make the search menu retain the entries even when you removed the camera from the unit internal poe switches?

I solved the problem. When I removed unplug the poe at the back.. I moved the unit touching the front panel to the wall that results in the power on/off key being pressed resulting in shutting down the unit.

I experienced that when using a switch.. there is no disconnection.. but when I added a router connecting to the NVR with the external poe switches connecting and camera and to the router.. there is a split seconds in which the feeds got disconnected.. anyone can explain why?

Hi, I can't locally acquire the cooling fan used in the dahua NVRs.. it's 5 volts and the board adaptor is unique.. does anyone know where I can order some? And also the bent screw driver that can detach it?
