Hi guys, thanks for the replies. The firmware update is an aside issue, mainly want to be able to view remotely via software, using the devices own gui is very fiddly. i opened up the dvr and cant see any manufacturer name, however their are model numbers. Hopefully you guys could shed some light on this. Regards Yas

Hi all, Having a problem trying to identify this DVR, it is a 16 channel H.264 500GB model but has no details on the back. Basically a friend gave it to me and i've got it working but want to a) update the firmware and b) connect remotely. I've included a pic of the dvr plus what i believe to be the firmware version.
