Hi All, I ordered 8 Samsung SNV-7084R domes and a Synology DS1815+ NAS with 24TB of storage to start. I am debating on what VMS to put on the NAS. I am looking at Milestone, Surveillance Station (Synology) or Exact (if I can find a dealer / get a price). Does anyone have any experience with the systems or recommendations?

Hi All, I am mounting some Samsung SNV-7084R domes on two walls of my exterior house. I was wondering if there were any products on the market like the AXIS Weathershields that would fit onto the Samsung dome. Appreciate the help.

Thanks for the quick replies! I was looking at the bullets as the family likes the appearance of bullets as opposed to domes. I wouldn't be opposed personally. I also had looked at cameras that had IR in case outdoor lighting burns out (but not a key concern). Looking for ~8 cameras to protect the house.

Does anyone have any experience with any of the following cameras? Cameras will be mounted outside under eaves with large quantities of light (WDR interest for any shadows / darkspots). Nighttime viewing will be supported with various landscaping lights. Mounting heights will be ~12 feet. Cost isn't a concern (e.g. cameras under 1K are fine). Prefer to avoid Hikvision / Dahuha for this project. Geovision GV-BL3400 Vivotek IB8373-EH Axis P1425-LE Samsung SNO-7084R Appreciate the help.

So the 4MP Hikvisions are not coming out for a while :/ so i am looking at other cameras now...Anyone have experience with Bolide or this Bosch DINION IP bullet 5000? Are they worth the price? Or if you have any other suggestions for cameras between $200 and $550 let me know. Mainly for daytime with night capability a slight plus. Thanks!

Hi, I have been using this forum for the past two weeks trying to determine what setup I should run to my house (recently burglarized). I am considering two options ATM (DIY or professional). One of the professional quotes I got was for a camera I had never heard of (not surprising as it could be rebranded from another main vendor). Has anyone heard of a CYTE NUVIS 723 (link: https://www.cytemax.com/?product=nuvis-723)? I wanted to get an opinion from the forum before deciding what option worked best for me. I appreciate the help!
