I have a Vesco VS-DK038 DVR I would like to use with iSpy but I cannot find a method to view the feeds with iSpy. Like most chinese DVRs it uses an ActiveX plugin to view the streams on the PC. I tried to view the source of the page and use Fiddler, but neither showed usable URLs. On previous DVRs I would see an RTSP url that I could use in iSpy, but not this one.
I ran Wireshark while streaming through IE and captured a lot of traffic from port 8000, but I am not sure where to go from there to finding a usable feed.
Port scan showed these open ports between 1-10,000
23 - Telnet but don't know login for root
80 - WEB
5000 - Mobile
8000 - TCP
I have found it works well with the Android app IPCamVIEWER when using the "IPS N812" profile. I am asking on their forums if they can give me a feed or more information on this profile.
