  1. Solved it. I entered the router setup and switched it to wireless bridge mode rather than routing mode. All working perfectly now. Many thanks for the suggestion. It pointed me in the right direction. Cheers. Great forum!
  2. Hi People, Just a quick question. I have a 4 Channel Hikvision NVR with Hikvision IP Cams installed at a storage yard. The system is all up and running and recording etc. The problem I am having is that I want to be able to view and playback from an iPad and iPhone using the iVMS app. In order to do this I need to connect to a network via Wifi. I have tried fitting a router, which works to a certain extent. Except that the Phone/iPad keep dropping the connection to the router as there is no internet connection on site. Opening a web browser brings up a page stating that the router has failed to connect to the internet. Upon which it will drop the connection. This in turn stops any connectivity to the NVR. So basically I need to create a wireless network that I can connect to that is happy with there not being any internet connection. Is there a way to do this? I apologise if I am being stupid. I am by no means an expert in this area. Thanks in advance.
