  1. Hi folks, I'm new to this forum, so bear with me if I make a mistake. I have a situation where we have a Pelco SM5000 System Manager unit which was connected to a Pelco NSM5200 unit. This environment is to be replaced at somepoint in the near future depending on budget resources and local location moves. For now we are looking at the option to, for the time being, add third-party storage to the system. We have a NetApp 2700 storage box which we can use for the time being. Question is, is it possible to connect thirdparty storage to Pelco units? Also, does a SM5000 support any kind of PCI style expansion cards perhaps? We could then maybe add a SAS/iSCSI/FC HBA? Anybody got a description or image of the insde of a SM5000 showing what options ther might be? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks and Kind regards
