  2. In an apartment of 10 blocks, we plan to install 2 cameras (one in the basement and lobby) and 2 along the periphery of the building. We plan to view the footage in the security area and have one control room Idea is to have a strong Optical fibre backbone, which can be used for future upgrade. Isnt it good to have a ring network so that the wiring is minimal. Proposal sent out are generally for long mesh of cables across the apartment blocks to the control room(where the NVR's are placed) and then put the data out to watch in security. How does one reduce the cost and complications of wiring? Is it possible to have a POE dedicated to each block and having these connected to a switch which is then connected to a NVR? We can then connect 2 displays from this device. Thanks Hrishi
