Hello Xperts, I have 8 channel DVR make QSee model QT428-436-5 since 4 years. I have a problem with my HDD. If i attach HDD to DVR, my DVR never turns on, but if i disconnect my HDD from motherboard of DVR, my DVR works (but obviously no recordings). I would welcome a solution to the above: 1. Can I attach an external HDD to my DVR, will it record, do i need to format the external HDD in some specific manner or OS. 2. Get a replacement HDD for my DVR.(Again, if i arrange for the HDD, will i require to formate it in some specific manner or OS) 3. Last Option (though expensive,,), Change the DVR???
