I have a Quattro DVR that I purchased from an installer, I think the company its from is Qvis looking at the sign on the top, Recently I have been seeing some strange things on the screen of the DVR, spontaneously the DVR will open the playback window or will go to the login page and then I will see multiple failed login attempts and then after a little while the DVR will freeze and I wont be able to log in on my app. Has anyone here every heard of something like this or would know what may be causing it?

Most email providers have changed the way that SSL encryption works for SMTP servers, for most older units the emails will stop working. You can still set the email settings up using the SMTP's TLS encryption instead (Providing the unit supports TLS) Otherwise you may need to contact the manufacturer for a firmware update to resolve the issue.
