Can some explain what the problem may be with my BI mobile setup? I originally set the mobile apps. on my iphone and everything worked great. I went to practice with it again and it wouldn't work. I checked my firewall everything alright, alerts worked both email and text. I then noticed from my notes that in the web server section the interfaces box was now highlighted. In that box was a different IP address. I switched to that one and everything worked again. However it switched back to the old IP in the box but everything still works. I don't know what IP number the mobile is using as I haven't figure how to view that in the mobile yet. It was set to the new IP to get it working. The new IP is still in the drop down box. Can anyone tell what I did wrong I don't want the IP to keep changing. Thanks TJ

Good morning Boogieman I mention in a post about internet service and wireless cameras that good internet was a must to have them work correctly. I was referring to cameras such as drop cam types. I didn't try these because of my limited internet speed. I think they would have been a great option for a few cameras. So your saying its not the internet speed that counts its your internal lan speed? This stuff is so confusing. TJ

Get a few Hikvision cameras and blue Iris software for under $350.00. You just need to spend a little time to learn the software. I would avoid wireless unless you have great great internet service. TJ

Just get a couple of Hikvision cameras and Blue Iris software and your problems will be solved. Cameras(2) about $200.00 software about $60.00 and a little time learning how to set up. TJ
