http://lonestarlofts.dvrdns.org:8080/ username: admin password: admin The connection is slow because its a shared cable line with 20 or more users. The cameras on the pool seemed to be washed out. What can i do to make them clearer? They are ARM box cameras with arm lenses. Thanks for your help. Jason

Oh that makes sense. Also why are the pool cams not switching to black and white at night?

Thanks for the help guys. A few of the cameras need adjustment especially the one facing the alley. Also there is dirt on one camera that needs to be cleaned.

Best way to run a camera to a distance of 2000 feet?
jstory posted a topic in General Digital Discussion
I would like to run a camera at my deer lease to a certain location. There is no power there so i need to run power to it also. I know cat5 wont do the job but would regular siamese cable work or do i need a bigger gauge wire? What would be the best way to approach this problem? Thanks Jason -
What is the best outdoor housing (small) for Arecont 3130?
jstory posted a topic in Installation Help and Accessories
I have a customer who is very picky about the enclosures we are looking for. He wants an outdoor mount that is smaller than 8 inches but will still be bigenough for the two lenses in the 3130 it needs at least a 3 inch diameter window. Do you know where i can find any small enclosures? -

Whats better a 12 Volt DC power supply or 24 volt VAC?
jstory posted a topic in Installation Help and Accessories
Im looking at power supplys right now that are 12 volts and supply 5 amps on 16 channels total. Shouldnt it be more like 2 amps per a camera? What brands do you recommend, it seems i always have issues with power on IR cameras even though i use 18 gauge wire. Sorry for the questions im new. Also what type of dome cameras or box cameras do you recommend for under 250 bucks? Something with adjustable lenses would be nice on the domes. -

VST Man, where can i order that camera? Also does a varifocal lense mean i can manually adjust it or it adjust itself? Would it be bad to use AC for a run under 200 feet? Most of the cameras i have been looking at have the option for 12 or 24 so i would like to stick with one powersupply.
