    HikVision Playback failure

Found the answer. Turns out the Online Shield in my AVG antivirus was blocking it. To anyone having similar problems, try messing with your antivirus.

    HIKVISION playback fails

Was having the same problem. Turns out the online shield on my AVG antivirus was blocking playback on the web browser version. Try messing with your antivirus settings and see If that fixes it.

    Hikvision Playback Issues

Our company has 9 Hikvision cameras located throughout our plant and a Hikvision NVR (DS-7616NI-E2/8P). Multiple employees have access to view live view and play back through the web interface. However, some of our employees receive a “playback failed” message when trying to view playback. Only some employees who access the cameras can’t see playback, and they all have been given permissions to view playback through the admin account. The people who can’t view playback are on Windows 7 Pro/Windows8.1 Pro and using Internet Explorer to view the cameras. As of now we have not been able to find a solution to this problem. Any advice or solutions are appreciated.
