  1. In my experience setting the anti dither to anything less than 5 second tends to create problems with dahua NVRs when trying to record on motion For the motion detect region masking you want to use the color overlay to mark which sections on the video feed you want to trigger motion.
  2. Hello Gents, I attempted my downgrade my 3mpx dahua ip camera from system version 2.420 to 2.210 due to some inconsistencies in MD with the NVR and it appears to have bricked. I wanted to use the RS232 port to try and recover it using iTuneDVR's instructions from "IP Camera RS232 Operation instructor" PDF file, but am completely unsure which port on the camera is considered the RS232 port. Here are the pics I was able to grab: Bottom of the PCB Underside Dials with possible RS232 Side of PCB If anyone can help me by pointing out which port is the actual RS232 port that will keep from spending multiple hours trying to use the wrong port and troubleshooting my serial cables and 232 board.
