I have an Avigilon pro series 4.2 mp camera in B&W with .001 lux when it gets close to dark the picture gets very snowy you can see things but the interference sucks for a high end camera. Any ideas what it could be?

I need help with what I need to wire the outdoor domes for my cameras what size wire do I need the runs will be 80' max Pelco dome cameras are POE running with cat6. Just need to wire the domes for blower and heater. Thanks

I'm only talking about powering the dome with blower and heater not the camera, the camera will be POE. Do I need to just run the power to the transformer for the dome and the POE for the camera seperate?

Can anyone tell me there experiance with outdoor dome housings I'm interested in the picture quality with a smoke color dome or a clear is there a big difference. Is the picture much brighter with clear does the smoke color cause any issues? Thanks

I am looking for exactly what I need to put together a mega pixel system. I want atleast 3.1 maga pixel maybe 5 I want one for indoor use for my gun room and need 2 for outdoor use 1 will cover my pool it is about 50' from the house where the camera will be mounted and 1 that will cover the front of the house out to the street the street is 300' away. I will need to put together a computer just for this or NVR whatever will be best and will need software for the cameras. I have been looking at arecont and IQeye but am open to anything other suggestions. I would appreciate any help you guy's can give me.

I am trying to setup a system to moniter my driveway and swimming pool I would like to get cameras with the best picture quality possible. I would like them to be PTZ the swimming pool sits about 30 yards from the house I want to be able to recognize people at the pool. Not much light at night. What would anyone recommend. IQeye Sentinel Series and domes does anyone know anything about these I do like the idea of megapixel cameras this is the quality I'm looking for. Who else makes good cameras money is not a big factor I'm looking for a high quality camera system. Thanks

I'm looking at ICR 3600 and the ICR 100X has anyone used these? They will be used outside hooked to ICR pro4 DVR. Can anyone tell me what they think of them or some other comparable cameras. I have decided on the ICR PRO DVR now need to decide on cameras. 2 will be outside one looking over the driveway backdoor and front yard, the other will be used to look over the back yard and pool. I would like PTZ so I can get better looks at things. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
