    Crazy Philips/Bosch Camera Question...

Awesome reply - that gave me most of what I'm looking for. When I get my project done I'll be sure to share it with the group, since I'm looking at something more than a PTZ controller, with a map interface, etc. - I've got a few crazy ideas I want to play with.
  2. I've got a number of AutoDome Easy II (analog) with a LTC 8786 (serial to bi-phase converter) that uses their fine piece of software to access the cameras. However, the software wasn't intended to talk to these cameras, instead the system controlled older AutoDome cameras... It "sorta works" but not nearly as well as one would wish, and I have to remote desktop into the XP machine the software runs on. Well, I guess you get the picture... LOL So here's the question of the day: Anybody ever seen the RS-232 command structure to talk to the cameras? I'm thinking of designing my own software to run on a more... current... O/S and to account for some of the features of the cameras so I can talk to them nicely. Any pointers would be appreciated.
