    Really? Anyone

    Motion detection

I've found you have all the advanced setting you need using the Hikvision web login! Assign the camera an IP, place it on a network switch, add the camera manually to the Swann NVR and tweak all you want. Swann is reliable, after all it was made by Hikvision. As far as motion detect, it works well.... but you need to spend time setting it up. AND, yes there will be motion events you don't care about, its the nature of the system. Especially BUGS!
  3. Hi Everyone, I bought the Cosco / Swann 8-Channel NVR setup with 4 cameras thinking I may want to try difference cameras. This has worked out for me as this is my first system and learning the ropes. I found a Swann NHD-841CAM - Pan-Tilt-Zoom on eBay at a good price that was on Swann's the list of cameras that would work with the 7200 NVR I have. Wow - I like it so much I'm thinking about buying another. So, from what I've read, Swann is rebranded Hikvision, I thought.... why not just buy the Hikvision version? I called Hikvision USA today to find out what Hikvision model I have with the Swann NHD-841CAM. After waiting almost an hour, I was put into voice mail. Anyone know what the Swann NHD-841CAM - Pan-Tilt-Zoom is in the Hikvision line and if there is any reason the Hikvision brand won't work with the Swann 7200 NVR? Thanks in advance!
