Hello, I have just downloaded and installed the last firmware for Dahua NVR4100 series. Now on mac, the web page requests me to install the webplugin. I Installed the last plugin for NVR4100 from the Dahua site. The problem is not solved... Help! Thanks for your help Andrew

I use SmartPSS on my Macs, but it is not the same thing. I prefer control my NVR4116H with the browser. Nobody in the past found the "404 Not Found" page error when the page asks to install the plugin? Thanks Andrew

Solved... I changed the password directly from the NVR and not with SmartPSS. The factory password for the user 888888 not changed. Sorry. Andrew

Do you have OS X 10.11 "El Capitan"? I have reset to factory default, nothing happened... I reinstalled the previous firmware and the webplugin seems not work anymore... Maybe the plugin is not compatible with the last OS X? Andrew

Before the last firmware upgrade on Mac NVR41XX worked fine with Safari and Firefox...

On 2 Mac, with Safari or Firefox the same problem... Something could change resetting the NVR to factory settings ? Andrew

Hello, for about 1 month I used the my new Dahua NVR4116H with 3 cameras IPC-HFW4200S. Of course after 1 month of continuous recording the 3Tb HD became full and the "HD full" alert Led turned on on the front. So I thinked to delete files older then 5 days. Correctly the NVR deleted the files and in the playback page the files disappeared. But… the HD is always full and the Alert Led is always ON! The files are gone but the HD page shows again only 260Gb/3Gb free! Why? Thanks Andrew

Hello, recently I bought 3 Dahua cams IPC-HFW4200S and a NVR4116H. With these products of course the compatibility is the maximum and I have not any problem. I have an old IP camera too, it’s a Dlink DCS2121. This camera is not an ONVIF cam. This cam can supply different MPEG4 or MJPEG streams (with different resolutions and frame rate): JPEG http://IPADDRESS/image/jpeg.cgi MJPEG http://IPADDRESS/video/mjpg.cgi MPEG4 or MJPEG rtsp://IPADDRESS:554/play1.sdp MPEG4 or MJPEG rtsp://IPADDRESS:554/play2.sdp MJPEG rtsp://IPADDRESS:554/play3.sdp MPEG4 rtsp://IPADDRESS:554/3gpp I tested the “generic cam” preset setup for this cam, the camera is recognized by the nvr (green (V) symbol), but after few seconds the symbol turn red (X). There is a hope to connect this D-Link cam to a Dahua NVR? Thanks for your help Andrew

I see your point, but what I don't understand is the "HD full" alert... If the files are not physically deleted from the HD and the HD is always full what is the meaning of the "HD full" alert... The system works always with the HD full after a initial period of time...

No it's correct, now the NVR is deleting the old records every morning at 10am. I waiting tomorrow when the free space will be 0... Andrew

I changed the number of days to maintain at 10am. The NVR correctly at 10am deleted all records before 10am of 5 days ago. Now it's 8pm and the records start since 5 days ago at 10 am! Something is wrong... I updated the firmware without reset to default parameters, could be this the problem? Andrew

Hi, I think that this D-Link camera is not compatible with the NVR Dahua. I think that the NVR Dahua accepts only H264 streams, and the DCS2121 can supply only MPEG4 and MJPEG streams... Andrew
