Before you choosing one of the 2 cameras ,my suggestion is you'd better to learn the difference between the IP security camera and POE camera ,find out their advantages and disadvantages,then you'll know which is suitable for you .

Friendly reminder:POE is used to send power and video over a network cable but you are limited in range, routers and cameras.

Money is not really an issue that isn't to say spending more money,you will get better cameras .Keep in mind ,there are several things to take into consideration when choosing a home security system. 1.Wireless systems or wired system. 2.You have PC and android phone ,that's nice .Now most of cameras can connect to the internet and smartphone,such as IP camera,POE camera ,AHD CCTV camera etc. 3.What quality image do you want ? 960H,720P,1080p even 4k etc . If you know what kind of cameras you want ,then take money into consideration.

Hey,my CCTV motion detection is fine with me . 1.You can set up sensitivity for the cameras to customize the areas you want alert the most. 2.Tips, if trigger motion detection, the DVR will start recording and send you email alerts. I advise you to use Gmail to make sure you will get these alerts on time.

I don't have a budget, but I am willing to pay for the right camera. Which one do you have because I'd like to watch on my iphone and computer while I am working. Do you have any recommendations? As long as I catch this irresponsible person and his or her dog I will be satisfied. I need one that can identify them in the act so that I can send footage to my local PD and at least have them cited for breaking city ordinance. Hopefully vandalism if it eventually gets that far. I've experience with one security camera product, called Floureon.It is a 4CH 960H Onvif CCTV DVR with 4 x 900TVL night vision bullet cameras.1. Due to night vision,it has good quality image at night .2.Connecting to the internet and smartphone easily,you can watch image on your iphone and computer.3. it's budget under $200(Though I wanted to buy device under $100 before) .but it meets my requirements and a month passed ,still works well for me . Most of our neighbors appreciate us having the cameras and several have come over to see if we caught on camera who egged their house or other suspicious activity.

Hi,guys I am new to security cameras and have no experience with them. I am looking for a stable camera. Though I've heard many cctv cameras,but was confused by them.What is FHD, AHD, VHD? I I googled the question, it made the answer cryptic.Does anyone can tell me more clearly? Another question:Because someone opened my apartment patio door just to let one of my cats outside. I can't figure out why someone would do that. I want to buy a cctv camera kit for home security.What kind of camera is best for me? Any help or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

A 4 camera system for 100? That is not going to happen...you will end up with a super low resolution system that will only give you problems...save your money. How much should I pay for 4CH Cameras in your opinion ?

Lock your patio door. Costs you nothing. If someone can open it to let your cat out then they can open it to come in and steal your property. Your hundred dollar budget does not give you a lot of options. As Boogieman pointed out something like Hikvision 2CD2132F-IS or Dahua IPC-HDBW4300E with a micro SD card for local recording will give you a capability within your budget. Ignore Sunnykim. He pedals obsolescent technology. Can anyone explain details to me ? So confused by you.Or do you have any good recommendations ?
