port may be not open. go to www.canyouseeme.org to check if port is open.
-
try wifi on phone instead of 3G network when remotely.

I have one model to recommend because it send me more than 10 thousands email alerts with pictures on night.

may I know what kind of ground loop isolators are you using? because I face the same issue. But I have no idea how to connect isolator to my camera.

only ip camera can connect to record wirelessly. most dvr can connect both analog camera and ip camera. 1. make sure your recorder can connect IP camera. 2. make sure your recorder support onvif protocal. 3. make sure your ip camera support onvif protocal then connect IP camera to router wirelessly. the dvr can detect ip camera's ip and add it into system.

comparing to AHD, CVI seems fragile

check if you can access camera on a computer locally with dvr's IP address. You can find DVR's IP in its setting. if IP works, it can prove your dvt failed to connect server. if IP doesn't work, either, it can prove your dvr is broken and failed to connect router.

Here are steps for most DVR's remote view. Yours may be a little different. 1. connect DVR to router by network cable. 2. Go to setting of DVR to find the place where shows network connected to check if it connects to cloud successfully. 3. On phone, download app and add DVR's SN where you can find on setting of DVR to view locally and remotely. On computer, download software or go to website to add SN to view locally and remotelly. For app, software or website name, they should be in manual. -
sometimes router may change the IP assigned to your NVR. Therefore, you had better fix the IP.
-
format the drive and check again. if it still happens, we suppose system of dvr is faulty. but to confirm it, you may need get another drive to test.
-
I don't think one drive can save video from two recorders. There is only one power port and one data port on drive.
