While I've been an electronics geek my entire life I'm relatively new to the CCTV world and am currently stuck. For the life of me I cannot figure out how to connect this PTZ controller to the system. I've been told it's been connected before but am not sure how. It's some cheap Chinese controller so there is absolutely no branding or numbering on this device (even looked inside). Because of that I have attached a picture for anyone helping me to look at. The controller has a plug for power, one labeled "matrix", and 2 ethernet ports labeled "RX IN/OUT". Sorry to bother you guys with so little information on it but this is literally all the information I could find on this. I'd greatly appreciate any information you can give me. I'm currently setting up a camera system including a couple of pelco series 3 cameras (DD53TC16). The issue I'm having is that I bought these cameras used and a few of them have the setting to default back to a specific location turned on. I need to turn this off but from what I understand I need to go to preset 95 to display the camera option. The problem is that I don't have a stand alone ptz controller so I have no way to specify preset 95 since my dvr only has 50 presets. Does anyone know how to change the settings on one of these cameras with out a stand alone ptz controller?
