FOR IP's: 1.If i use CAT5 how much distance can i run the cable from NVR to Camera with out using Switch? 2.Same Question for CAT6. -

Hi all, I have an doubts regarding cabling Distances particularly for video signals,Please try to clarify my doubts(forget about Power Supply, i will give power near to camera which exceeds 200ft.) For AHD/HDTVI/HDCVI Cameras(Forget About power) 1. How much Distance can we run the cameras from DVR using siamese cables(RG59 & RG6). 2. Further how much we prolong the distances using Passive Baluns. 3. Using UTP(Cat5e & Cat6) how much distance we can run with & without Baluns. 4. If we use UTP Cables how many pairs is sufficient to run the video signal(I heard 1 Pair is enough). For IP Cameras(Forget about POE & Power): 1. Which is Better cable CAT5e or CAT6. 2. How many Pairs are enough for cost Reduction - 2pair or 4pair(only for Video)?. 3. How Much max. distance can we run the single cable with out using Switch & Baluns? 4. Options for prolong the distance? OFC: If, i have to run the fiber for 2km(2000Mtrs) from NVR & i have to connect the one IP camera for every 500Mtrs(total 4 cameras upto 2km). So, from above case,is 1 lead fiber is enough or 4leads(4 fiber) fiber Required? Don't irritate with my Questions please try to answer my questions.

Now a days all are using 3MP & 5MP IP cameras Commonly. But I have an Doubt from so many days, What is the purpose of Installing 3MP & 5MP cameras, if Most NVR's supports Video Output/Capability at only 1080P(2MP) Rec. Resolution? Most Manufacturers are giving in there specifications, supports Live View/Playback Resolution 5MP,3MP,1080P,720P.......... but when it comes to capability, supports only upto 1080P Resoultion. im not able to understand these technical terms. Please try to clarify my doubt. Is there Quality difference in video Playback? Till now i haven't installed 3MP or 5MP cameras. -

Here i am attaching the LAYOUT of an Gated Colony. They want to install the Analog HD CCTV across the colony. The Max Distance and Minimum distance from CCTV to DVR HUB is 850MTRS to 120Mtrs. So, As Iam new to this large Project, Please Suggest me for my Queries, 1.Which type of cable to be used for this Larger Distances? 2.Company People are suggesting different solutions but i have doubt on that. Hikvision : Cable u can use for such long distance is RG 59 for up to 400 meters beyond that use balloons for connectivity at every 50 meters. ADI : USE fiber Optics for above 500Mtrs and install Video encoders. 3.What About the Power to cctv(I want to run one 220V power cable along 800mtrs from that i want to loop the power for each CCTV to 12V by installing adapter near to CCTV )? Please Suggest me the Best Solutions and Alternative Options for cost effective
