Tell me if I'm crazy, but I'm wanting to start a residential CCTV installation company in Texas. I've worked one year for a security company, but I wasn't a commissioned officer. I was a dispatcher. In texas you need a Class B License in order to open a business that installs CCTV, even if they're not being monitored by a third party. I was told by the state office that I could work under another's class B license, but I would have to find that person or company of course they would have to be from Texas, but would they need to be from the same county? I know a phone call could answer that question, but I think it's going to be difficult to find someone near me who would allow me to work under their license. I guess I'm looking for some direction as to what I should do or can do. Thanks for any help.

There is plenty of light outside, even though there is overcast, but my cameras remain black and white after the sun comes up. I can turn off the DVR and they color, but that's defeating the purpose. Anybody had this problem and is there a solution? Thank you for any help.
