AWB and AE settings in "tricky" situation

Has really no one ever came across a manual that explains these terms? This is the model of the camera: http://www.amazon.ca/ANALOG-EYEBALL-SN-IRC13-40AUVD-SUNELL/dp/B00U9UXIF0 I'll probably get some day/night shots so you can get an idea about the lightning environment.
  2. Hi, I have a couple of Sunell anti-vandal dome cameras mounted at a height of ~ 5m overlooking an inner yard. Outside the fence, lets say maybe 8-10 meters from the cameras are the city's street lights. They are sodium-vapor lamps emitting a reddish/yellow light. The building is made out of bricks, amplifying the red hue. This image pretty much describes the situation: During daytime, each camera works great, but at nigh, when the lights turn on each image has a different tint. Its definitely something wrong with auto-exposure and/or WB. For WB i can choose form: AWB-PRO, AWB-TEMP, AWB-AI, AWB-GW, AWB-CCT The options for AE are: Smart-AE Global Center Center Weig, BLACK Light, Front Light Lower 1/3. Each camera also has an Wide Dynamic Range option, albeit digital. What are the differences between each WB option and AE? Which one should i choose in my situation?
